Venizelos Evangelos

Evangelos Venizelos, born in 1957, has studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and Paris II, France. He is Professor of Constitutional Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a prolific academic writer.

Since 1993 he has served in ministerial positions in Greece, including Minister for National Defence (2009-2011), Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister (2011-2012), Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister (2013-2015)

He was President of PASOK from March 2012 to June 2015.

Εvangelos Venizelos serves as MP for Thessaloniki A Constituency since 1993.
